Didn't receive renewal notice

Heya

So my rego is expiring soon but I haven't receive any renewal notice (I recently moved but the address was changed more than 4 weeks before the rego was due)!

I tried renewing it online without quoting the reference number but it doesn't work that way

Any idea on how I could renew it online without having the renewal notice? I am currently overseas so can't visit local DOT

Call them, i had the same issue when i bought my car because there is several different suburbs listed to the same postcode and their mailing system gets confused with that. Otherwise they will claim they sent you a notice even if you didn't receive one.

What suburb do you live in? You might be able to get a local member (or another friend) to swing by and see if it has arrived if your mail is accessible.

If you're overseas calling might be difficult, but I would definitely email them, that way you also have a written record that could be useful in getting out of a late fee or something.
