With road rules prioritising profit above anything else, there's nothing left to look after driver IQ, discipline and courtesy. The typcially good-natured Australian becomes a rude, selfish and dangerous jerk once behind the wheel.

If this legilation goes ahead, that'll be great. I can get an RA. But as a P plater, I would never speed because I wouldn't want my statistic to be a contributor to the regrets of putting that law forward.
I don't know why people speed. Possibly an ego thing?

drive magazine published an article on the 9/sep/13
saying
in regards to this new legislationUnder changes to be rolled out as early as January
(can be found here: http://news.drive.com.au/drive/motor-ne ... 2tdv6.html)
but I find myself unintentionally speeding, meaning I check my speedo and its 10km over the limit, but I guess its just coz I want to get there, or by speeding do u mean like 20km+?

in vic the RA is banned, but in qld it is allowed
and this site says it is only 114kw/tonne which means its less then 125kw/tonne so should be allowed, right?

yeah, coz they might say no to the RA, for what ever reason, like how a z3, z4 bmw, v35, 350z 370z, are NA cars, but are banned, but AUS cars legal when they are about the same, on paper that is.
or get a RA and an exemption until nxt yr
