So I was at mechanics today coz he called me to come and have a look at a car that was, and it was cl63 amg, the guy who owned it is only 23 years old, well he doesn't own it anymore coz he brought the cayman and already owns an audi r8. my mechanic is in Liverpool and the guy who owns well used to was going to drive to Canberra after my mechanic recommend not to, so the owner says if anything ill leave it out the front!!! so what happens as he is on his way, the fan belt screws up, so what does he do, drive it Liverpool and just park it out the front the mechanics shop and leave the keys under the door( well more like at the bottom in front of the door). there are only 5 of them made and only 2 in aus!!! and just in case ur wondering I did (not) drive it, and I did (not) try to see what a 6.3L v8 can do. also the size of the brakes, omg, tbey are ridiculously huge, and the front badge is worth 20K alone...
so yeah that was my day, must say I now know why v8 supercars don't wont it in the V8's, its puely sex on wheels, although I wouldn't own one as I value my license to much
***** ALERT - Nominations for your new ClubCJ Committee can be made here *****

r they the c63 or cl63, coz the c63 was brought here Mercedes aus while the cl is a special order.

There are 4 for sale on Carsales: http://tinyurl.com/onh7l66
and 81 on Cars.com: http://tinyurl.com/nuleffz
I'm also sure you were fibbed to about the $20,000.00 badge.
Great cars nonetheless, but if the CL63 left this much of an impression on you, I think you'll need a new set of pants when you see the CL65 AMG - biturbo V12 with 1000Nm of torque and the most expensive new Mercdedes-Benz consumer car ever sold in Australia (perhaps the world).

I am actually not a v8 fan, but being in this car gave me hope tht they have managed to make a handle as well as it did, so it wasn't actually the performance I was impressed by coz driving in a straight line isn't real driving, well thts how I see it, but at the end of the day I would have jap car over any euro or muscle car
Also the badge apparently is full of sensors and has the satellite stuff in it making it so expensive, that's wat I got told, and thought it made sense if it has all that in it, plus being Mercedes they would overcharge U a few thousand dollars

I'd have one in a second if I could afford it! Mercedes V8 makes an Aussie V8 sound like crap I reckon. Now if there was a proper Jap v8 sports car, I'd take that over the German one (Lexus ISF doesn't count, that's no sports car, but sounds awesome anyway)
