NSW -September 21st - Wollongong Cruise + BBQ

if u want to make Wollongong longer, I inow SAU (skylines Australia) get to Wollongong via mt kira rd, then go albion park (instead of going to the gong) and go up macquire pass, stop at the pie shop at the top, then head down Jamberoo pass back into albion park, and go home from there, but we could go to a one of the beaches from albion park and have a bbq

Good looking trip.........long way from Newcastle for a day trip though

Do that run once every couple of months, usually go down the national park first and go down through moss vale rd and kangaroo valley after macquarie pass and go back up mac pass on the way home. From experience it's not as busy in the afternoon up the pass. It's a fantastic drive.

Would the National Park be a good starting place? I was thinking about something a little closer. Another thing I have to work out. .

Going up the pass is fine,it's going down u want to careful of, that's y going down jamberoo is good as the bends aren't so tight and there is less traffic on it

Yeah I never go down the pass, never have. Any of the roads going down the mountain you can cook your brakes when your having some fun that's why ups always better. Problem with all of these roads you only need 1 slow car or truck and its a crawl. Especially if your trying to stick in a group.

I go slow (speed limit usually) but it makes me mad when people are going way under the speed limit. Especially uphill...accelerate for gods sake peoplllleeee!!! Lol

Whereabouts Ryan? North Wollongong beach seems ok but it may get pretty busy on a Saturday....but being Winter/spring it shouldn't be too bad...
