what do u mean by CEL? and I tried the g9lancer website, had a quick look couldn't see anything, so I thought id join and use the search function, and the activation link doesn't work... so if anyone on here is a member and has nothing better to do then research this product on g9lancer id really appreciate it
so if it says 3x more air they are saying it as a good thing, but if more air would make the car stall it would mean the product is a dud...?

I have been able to find reviews, ppl said good things, and on one forum they had trouble placing it but im guessing it was just coz of the car it was being installed on. if I do order it ill be sure to write how it goes, and if its shit ill prob try to replace the air filter with a k&n universal one to see if it is any better, or would any issues occur in the piping if there were to be any??
at that cost i would go with the K&N Typhoon short ram intake. it at least has been tested by K&N and proven to produce more gains than stock.

ohhh, yeah, I plan on getting extractors and full exhaust, then then do the intake, then hopefully get the merlin tune.
and including postage I can save just $100 if I get the weapon r, or would it be better to spend the extra money and get something known that works well on the cj

My opinion is still unchanged on the subject, the K&N Typhoon is my pick of the litter.
It's trusted, well tested, doesn't throw CELs, and has excellent air flow for minimum piping (therefor minimum heat build up/transfer)
I have one and after a tune it's brilliant.

I would like to see a setup where the MAF housing is not reduced diameter ie is the same as the feed pipe.
And also with the MAF housing closer to the throttle than the air filter.
Maybe modify a K&N short ram kit or similar.
Also cut the plastic shroud thing at the snorkle entry. Use a Ralliart snorkle.
A setup with the bigger MAF housing would need tuning of course, but if the inside diameter was the same as an EvoX (hint-hint) the MAF tables could be swapped in so pretty easy. Go for it guys.

So what you are saying is fit a Evo X intake setup. That would be interesting and easier to fit then making one.
Does anyone know the inside diameter of an EVO X feed pipe where the MAF sensor is? I would like to try make one just for shit and giggles. Machine a plate to fit the throttle body and a mandrel bent pipe won't be to hard to make.

well I have pleanty of time to compare dimensions as I want extractors and full exhaust before the air intake is installed, then get my ecu tuned, but this is going to be a long process as being a student limits your working days, then work goes ahead and cuts your hrs
