Now, this is an open day held at the track, so there will be all sorts of cars there, not just us. Also, being an open day, there is a noise restriction on anything louder than 95db. They will be very strict with this, and have equipment to monitor this at the track. Originally we were throwing around the possibility of having the entire track to ourselves, however, that would work out very costly, and the reps would be out of pocket for any no shows (which always happens).
If you think you can come, great! Dont say you can until you know for sure.
If you know this is a definate, please let us know as soon as you do.

For those who haven't participated in a track day before, and are concerned with what it may do to your car, here are a few tips on what to look forward to on the day!
There is very little chance of the world ending if you drive your car on a racetrack
Groups are sent out in timed segments of Approx 20mins, so you are not driving for a full 8 hours this also allows time for your brakes, engine, etc to cool between sessions
The full day is recommended as you have more time to fill up the day. You don't have to race in every session - Sometimes its just as fun to watch!
This event should be no harder mechanically on your car than your average mountain drive
You will use an entire tank of fuel [Possibly more for Turbos]
You will destroy your tyres if they are a soft compound (Under 200 Treadware) - This depends solely on how you drive on the day
If you haven't changed your brakes recently - Make sure you bring a spare set along. We should have our own equipment there to change these on the day
Any damage done to your car when on the track, is your responsibility. This includes any damage done to guardrails should you come off.
There is usually plenty of room if you do come off the track
Keep your witts about you and all will be fine! Drive to yours, or your cars ability. THIS IS NOT A HARDCORE RACE! It is simply an opportunity to take your car out, and drive as hard as you can without breaking any laws, and have a good time too
And last, but far from least.... The More - The Merrier!! If we have a large enough group, we will get our own track time which will make the day much more enjoyable for everybody.

Anyone can spectate for free at Lakeside on the Hill on the pit area entry side if you havnt been there before.
What is the cut off for a definate answer Alan?
Also for those that havnt been to Lakesdie before....It is one of the best race tracks in OZ left and is a real Drivers track opposed to Queensland Raceway.. As Alan said it is only as harsh on your car as you want it to be. Ahhh...the memories come flooding back racing there in my youth and watchng true ATC's lol.
Jade...i will give you a call regarding the day mate.
