Mark,
The OEM bonnet is actually quite expensive as it is made from aluminum and not steel like the NA ones.
It also has the Ralliart\Evo designation so it automatically costs allot more.
The bonnet alone costs around 800 bucks, you then need the scoops which are about 200-300$ then you need to paint the thing which can be another 200-300$.
Plus you will need to have new plastic clips around the thing so you can open it and close it, and have the windscreen washer jet hose mounted nicely, 50$
If you can be bothered with heat shields then add another 100-300$
That's around 1500-1800$
Which roughly corresponds to what Mitsubishi quoted me when i went to repair my vehicle.
If you source the parts from 3rd party you will need to factor in multiple shipping costs into your overall estimate.
If something were to happen to my car and insurance got involved again i would probably do it. but at the time of my accident I was really short on cash.
I would be interested in seeing the overall result if anyone has gone down that path. obviously i would want someone to do it professionally as we have all seen my quality cable tie workmanship
Best of luck mate.
