Old Photos From Botany Meet (Feb 2013)
I believe this was the February meet at Botany; I was going through some of my photos and found these two!
I completely forgot that I had them so I thought I would put them up for you all..
And this one featuring the Moogaru...

Thank you, the first one was with my DSLR; a Sony SLT-A33.
But the second one was just done with my iPhone because I had put my camera away by that point >.<

Well if I can't swing you over to the Nikon side of things (my home turf), then the EOS 650D is an excellent choice, don't bother with the 700D it isn't worth the extra cash
If I am to be honest, in the entry level price range, Canon does come out on top; so you would be best off with the 650D

The K5 is an excellent camera, very respectable for its age. Id probably pick it over the 650D for pure stills photography, the image quality is that much better . If you want to dabble in some video as well though, the 650D will be the one to buy.

I'll just release some of my inner photo-geek while I have the chance My thread, I can go off-topic if I want
Almost everyone overlooks the compacts and micro 4/3 systems these days, but they truly are extraordinary cameras..
Just look at the Pentax Q series, the Olympus PEN series...or even look at the Nikon 1 series - all of them excellent cameras without the bulk of a DSLR.
I haul around a Nikon D4 and after 3 hours my arms just want to die >.<

Thanks for the info guys... was leaning more towards the 650D just because I have a little bit of experience with the old EOS 450d ... Though from what I have read and seen the K5 does look like it is well made and takes some awesome stills.... haven't really had the time to read up on NIKON and SONY DSLR's though, I probably should before I go ahead and buy something.
