Sorry to hear man! Glad you and everyone involved in the accident are fine! But your car looks pretty good compared with the other car!

Picked up my hire car this morning, little Corolla hatch (very pokey), opted for the excess waiver since doing otherwise would be tempting fate, especially since its going to be pouring all week

Went to look at the car on Thursday (wish I had my phone with me to take some pics). It appears the rear bumper (the steel one under the plastic one) absorbed the impact pretty well. there was only a slight bit of work done around it, cosmetic. also the boot lid is all fixed, they are doing a couple of other things for me as well (given the RACQ is paying for spray-booth time it made sense to save a bit of money and get it done now)

Sorry to hear Phil and good that your ok. Daaaam...If i had of seen just the ford i would have thought there would have been a lot more damage to your car, cause it looks driveable. Cant tell whats underneath though...the bumper may have bounced back and hiding stuff. I suppose though...crumple zone on the front....but still...yours stood up pretty well.

Finally got the uploader working, here's a pic of the damage up close (was good to see at the repairers that it WAS cosmetic, no real panel damage)

Very happy with the repair job on the damage, not so much about their stuffup with the front fender though
