I got the OEM gear knob Ive been after for a while that I found on ebay recently (with the stuffed thread) in the mail today. Thought I was going to have to have it filled and drilled or something (IE: fix it) to fit it cause it doesnt have the little removeable plastic insert like the leather/plastic knobs but tried screwing it on as is and managed to get it on there anyway Took it for a drive, all solid too! So dont know how its going to go once I take it off to fit a short shifter at a later date but its on there for now. Will put up pics in my thread later.

Lol thanks guys. Denzza hooked me up, got it for 160 including the ac controls.
Now i need to figure out how to adapt the manual shift boot to the cvt surround. Or just buy a new shift boot. Red or white stitching...hmm

Yeah I hope you specified that you have an aluminium bonnet, they might be too stiff.
If they are you could use just one.

I did ask before purchasing and Paul told me that they would be ok and that the bonnet would just open quicker, but I will see how it goes with just one side first

Megatron had the same problem, he sold his spare to Sleeper.

Mine was ok, I use both struts, but not before Megatron tested the stiffness by pushing it into the ground
