yeah it's common for evo 7/8/9 to do a fuel pump + boost controller + tune.
100% not necessary for Evo 10 and RA I hate to say
anyways, yes it is an easy fix, i'm sure they will nut it out for you.

the issue is that the ecu is looking for say 16psi worth of air and you are throwing 22psi at it - without adjusting those parameters is freaks out, throws codes, and sometimes will put you into limp mode. if that happens, just turn off, wait a few seconds, and start her up again, it will drive fine.

Yeah its never gone into Limp mode. It goes like balls now hahah. Just its unnerving and annoying when you get an engine light as soon as it hits 19psi

if anyone up there has a cable, pull the rom and i'll have it fixed in about 5 seconds for you. i'm sure they will nut it out soon for you!!

yeah he flew back to sydney yesterday said he'd have it fixed and sent back by wednesday or thursday. Just going to leave it on low boost setting a until then. No engine light on there
