need help asap CL code P1235

Hey club, ive got a 10 gsr...I got a CEL with spirited driving it went away after 10 starts....Got the code P1235 Mass airflow sensor plausibility...I have an AEM Dry Flow Intake kit and a full exhaust...I want to get it tuned...can the tune sort this out?? Mitsu want to charge $899 for a new sensor...Can some one help me what to do??

Im not entirely sure but somebody lile beeble might be able to sort it out with one of his tunes, he can disable o2 sensors so he might be able to help :)

yeah easy fix
don't get a new sensor, it's most probably fine.
your airflow mods have just pushed it beyond what the ecu sees as "normal" is all.

Does your CEL stay on all the time? I mean after you got it to go away does it come back?

it would have been triggered by higher boost than stock.
so you would have to gun it to make the CEL happen, and I'd say after a period of normal driving the condition goes away.

pulled the code

its code P1235, MAF airflow sensor plausibility...

Easy fix, Mitsi wanted $800 for a new sensor, a dyno shop $20 and 5mins later all fixed...The guy adjusted the parramitiers of the maf, LOL....He said comon problem on the evo when you drive in very cold dense air and load it up then come on boost with an after market intake... and thats exactly what hapened to me...the guy knows hes stuff
