I think so. I think thats the part that gets damaged as well. I just remember some guy with a 20120 civic doing it on his trim and when he took the suction cup off there was a mark and it wouldnt go away when he kept wiping it haha.

Not sure about Lancer, but i had them in the Magna and it was terrible! V stiff i was feeling every single rock on the road and they been just 1 " drop!

I also had these on a Magna but super low, bottomed out all the time and on 15" rims even after new shocks
