Yeah I installed it this arvo and I just used lots of clear silicone to stick it to the car and just the two self tappers, it really needs a 3rd screw in the middle but there is obviously nowhere for it to go. I might end up drilling another hole in the top-centre or in the two top corners just to keep it as close to the car as possible but still undecided

Looks like it doesn't sit flush?

Or is that how it's meant to look?

its sits on top of the front air dams..
from a bit more distance it will look like its one piece lol.

+ a few more shots from different angles would be good!!!

Yeah I had the chrome on before installing this and loved it and i just bought a new roll to put on but it just didnt suit the car with the lip, just looked too awkward. I will take some more pictures from different angles tomorrow.

I got my replacement lip today.

it was a better quality re the interior construction and it was a much better surface finish, no scratches so didnt need to paint it.

It was a firm fit on it going inside the intake area.
The only problem I was disappointed with was that obviously due to the mold shape, the curve on the ends is too sharp and it left a 6-7mm space as it doesn't follow the airdam horn curves as well as the one from the other supplier did.
I just noticed on looking at one of my photos that a crack is starting 1/2 way up the side of the lip. GGGRRRRR
I was extremely careful when fitting it as I didn't want anymore damn problems.
I used the 8G x25mm button head self tapers.

Crack start is shown at top arrow, gap at bottom. Hard to see crack here but in original Hi res image when you zoom in it is easy to see. !@#$%^

i agree qudans, its not too bad looking at all, i can see the gap, but i think that will be on all of them from that same manufacturer.

Ozie, my original one fit perfectly on the horn contours.

I am just worried it is going to crack along the front in time along a slight "stress bend" in the material.
I have already informed Rick in Singapore and sent him some pics.
I will see how it goes .

I thought this PU was supposed to be pretty robust /flexible and not splittable like brittle plastic.

Otherwise I think it looks good. As I said the overall finish on the inside and outside surfaces was far better from this different supplier.
According to Rick there are only 2.

that looks unreal.

exactly what im going to do to mine i think, i may look at the vinyl option for the middle part, but i just reckon, a high gloss black, for that entire region will look cool.

but a question, how in the hell do you get in and out of the drivers seat? rofl, you must be a real skinny bloke!!
