Yeah I know exactly what your ideas are, I have/had the same. It kind of depends on how your dealer thinks about you as the owner as well.

I just did a base map flash first after getting the tactrix, then a couple of weeks later I ordered a boost pill when I realized how easy it was to change back to stock. Takes like 10 minutes.

In two minds about tuning and warranty. If i just use a boost pill and tune, they should not know im flashing between stock and tuned maps? Cause theres no mods that can be seen?[/quote:1d18e2215c] Ive done what you are talking about heaps of times, and i still claim warranty stuff. They cant tell apparently.[/quote:c5ef3c1af5] Thats great to know, all is want is for the car to be a lot more responsive across the rev band and instant response from stop whilst maintaining good fuel economy, I know the harder i drive the more fuel i will use up, and of course anyone would accept that, no changing basic combustion principles lol, but even driving normally and a bit of spirited driving here and there and the petrol light comes on lol Then when its time to service the car, flash back to standard rom and the dealers are non the wiser. Its probably worth while asking the dealer servicing the car what mods they do allow to service under warranty, as I have heard some have a cat back exhaust, lowered springs and aftermarket rims and they are ok with it, as long as the dealer does the installation (generally more expensive I know) but if they ok with it and honour factory and dealer warranty, then its a bonus for me.

IMPORTANT!

I have spoke to merlin and we need to email him copy of a few of our ecu roms so he definitely has the ecu definitions before he get here so hes not having to make them on the day. We need a copy of whitenight, jonno2012es and mine. So in the next few days the 3 of us will have to catch up with one of the members with a cable to get a copy of the rom. I have a blue tooth obdII connector which works fine but im not sure what program to use

I'm pretty sure I can read those roms and save them with the tactrix and Ecuflash. Can test first if you like.

Put me down for this 100%, I live on the Gold coast and am happy to drive up any time. Does anybody have a ballpark figure of the amount of money we will be paying in excess of $250 to cover the air-fares and what not?

it depends on what type of flight merlin chooses and when he comes up dean but i`d imagine it`d be less than $50 each ballpark.
