suggestion on brake pads and rotors
hi everyone, Im getting my car serviced next week and want to change my brake setup as well. i was wondering if anyone could suggest a good setup for brake pads and rotors? Cheers

The pertinent point is if you upgrade the calipers in future, your NEW brake pads don't just move over. You need to buy NEW PADs and in some cases NEW ROTOR as well.

You think the DBA rotors are worth the 40 each difference? DB 1441 would be the Bendix number, I was told they give off abit too much dust to have a CAI and that QFM HPX would be better in terms of dust and equal in performance, also about 40 cheaper
DBA rotors are a lot better than RDA's in my opinion, they are made from a higher quality steel. also any slotted rotor is going to cause more brake dust no matter what the pad is.

These arrived from the US this morning, full set zinc dipped slotted with ceramic pads, 300 bucks, off to see the wizard now, find out how much to install all this stuff.
Call me crazy but buying rotors in Aus seems to be a waste of money, at least so far, I might have been able to do the fronts for that much

The cheapest slotted RDA's I saw were 179 plus 30 for delivery, just the fronts. While I had to wait 3 weeks for these rotors, DBA is out of stock anyway so the shipping wait was irrelevant. Buying a CAI was easy too, about 320 delivered I think, 6 days it took. Service in this country sucks because there is no competition
