hey guys, just an update, a mate of mine did a track day at marulan recently with other members of the subaru liberty forums, and he was explaining the 90db thing, so dirtee, nothing to worry about. the mic takes a 15minute long reading and then gets and average of that, so when you come off the track, he said we should all go and park up in this back section away from the microphone etc, and it means your car can rev its tits off on the track without too much hassle. only one member had a ridiculously loud car (even louder than the porsche that ran on the day with them), and they just threw some steel wool in the exhaust to muffle it a bit or something, and all was well.

so nothing to fear. also, he said something about choosing between timed and passenger-allowed laps, he couldnt elaborate because he's a knob and rocked up halfway through the briefing. also, winners are based on consistent speed settings, not just one fast lap. just thought i would throw out what info I could if anyone even cares

I won't be in the Nissan. Failed roadworthy for the stupidest reasons.

Ill be in the Mitsubishi, what time are people getting there and so on?

Hi all!!

I am still alive

I will be there at gate open time. The sooner the better.

We need to be signed in ready for the track walk to get maximum track time.

Please make sure when you are asked what group you would like to go in, that you choose wisely. If you have never been to a track day, definitely choose beginner. You can always ask to move up during the day.

There will be 2 garages that are to be shared to change wheels etc.

I will have a jack, tool box, stands and a compressor if you need to do tyre pressures etc.
