The crack was welded at factory. I'll post you pics a bit later.the repair job on it was good but to hide the seam it needs a spray

God! Not even drilled?? Is yours a C or V lip?
I really don't wanna point fingers, but this really looks like it's a manufacturing problem, not shipping...
Inconsistent parts, and obviously some damage has occured and been repaired prior to shipping... I'd assume they've just let the others pass through...

A few things to sort out.
a) The V-Lip doesn't have holes in them as you can align it to a preferred protrusion. If he had put holes, you can no longer align them and have to stick with his choice of position.
b) I've spoken to the dealer and he says the part is NOT a weld repair. It's just the moulding. Again I emphasize, this is what he says. Not me.
The part is made of PU Rubber. No way it can be welded. Supposedly, that's where a mould joint was.

Hi Guys,
Just to give you an update on the lip situation.
I have sent PMs to Ofey and Emails to Rick in Singapore to get this sorted out and just got a call from Rick personally.
He apologized for all the problems for my damaged lip and also for Nichos and is sending me a new one from a different supplier tomorrow which should be here next week. He will reimburse me my shipping costs to send this one back to Ofey in Melbourne for eventual return to Singapore.
He is wanting to make sure everyone is happy with their products when they get them. Anyone with problems should contact Ofey so corrective action can be taken.
I am hoping my new one ,which will not have holes in it will be problem free and a better material. I will keep you all informed when it arrives.
He thinks the damage was likely done in shipping, I Was not so sure but after just repacking it to send to Ofey, when wrapped in all the bubble wrap no matter how it went into the box it was a bit of a tight fit near the ends so it is possible if enough force were applied to the box in places it may exert a pressure near the ends of the lip. This could have caused the cracks. I have suggested to him that a bigger box be used and the bubble wrapped part be then packed in the polystyrene beads to absorb any pressure or slight crushing of the box.

Then why isn't there on the otherside? Why is there a drill hole at the end of the seam? Why has it been sanded over the seam and nowhere else on the lip? But as I said it doesn't concern me all it does is delay the install.

We've spent the best part of this day sorting out the problems with Nicho's and aussie027's lip problems. I've no idea what the number is. I'll ask rick when I manage to get him on the phone. You should know me better than that. Whenever I have info, I post it promptly and without delay. I'm sorry to have pissed you off... .
