I dont think anyone is blaming you in any way, I think we are all extremely grateful for the time and effort you have put in to organising this group buy as well as all the other great deals on products you have organised. Aussie and I just want our products to good quality and from what Aussie has said and what my lip looks likes, it appears as though whoever drilled the holes in our lips did a poor job of it. Hopefully for our sakes the dealer is willing to compromise and partially refund us but whatever the result I will stress that nobody here is laying any of the blame on you. It is the dealers job to make sure his products are of the quality described and advertised.

Nobody said anything about blaming anyone esp not Ofey.

I blame the person who cracked them , apparently when drilling them.
Why he would pack damaged products and ship them is beyond me, now we all have to go through all this running around to fix this problem.

sorry to slightly divert, but ofey, u had enough people pick up lips to be able to bring the rest to DIY day or u still got stacks left?

Spew about the situation guys... good point aussie, if I stuff a part at work, it goes in the bin... not shipped half way around the world to be shipped back again... *cough*knob

But yes, hopefully the company that sold them will be co-operative and understanding... Let's see what happens and hope they're quick!

Just an update: the dealer has agreed to replace all cracked lips at no cost.

He will be sending Aussie027 a new C-Lip and will be sending me a new C-Lip to replace nicho's broken one. Unfortunately though, Aussie027 will have to post the cracked lips back to me (cheaper than back to Sg).

On a trip back to Sg, I'll take the cracked ones back for him.

Received mine today. Mine had a crack but it had been plastic welded which means I'll have to spray mine before fitting, None of the holes are drilled but tis is good as I can position as I like

Sorry to hear you had a crack.
Before you do spray it, can you please send me a picture of the crack?

We have to take action on such things. It's either the dealer or DHL. Someone has to be accountable.
