Oh on another front, please don't let the proposed DIY day stop any of you from wanting to collect. Let me know if you want to pick up your part first as a mantle piece.
I don't think I can transport ALL of them there in my car.
When I get home, I will be opening one V-Lip and one C-Lip to take a picture first for everyone to view so if you get the open one, rest assured, I handled it with TLC.

Hi Guys, I just got mine 5 min ago!! I cannot believe it.
Problem is mine is cracked right thru ,25mm long, about 25mm in front where the screw hole is on 1 side. GGRRRR.
I suppose I could glue it if anyone can recommend what type to use.
Any info would be appreciated.
I could possibly use a 5 min epoxy or maybe something flexible like black Shoe Goo???.
It will of course flex slightly with movement in the bumper on the car when driving or if I nudge a parking kerb.
Also it has a lot of surface scratches on it which I may be able to sand with some wet and dry and repaint it. GGGRRRRR.
Anybody else have theirs yet . I'd like to know if anybody elses has all the surface scratches.
On the good side it does fit well and looks good and the 2 screws underneath and maybe 2 small ones in the top should hold it very well without having to use messy silicone adhesive..

So far 2 people have reported problems: aussie027 and Nicho.
Both seem to have the same problem with the center lip where the drill holes are located.
Now if anyone else faces this problem, I have 2 approaches for you:
a) Send the thing back at your own expense, then the dealer will send a brand new one back.
or
b) Get compensation or cash back. In the case of Nicho I'll be asking for at least 35% back from the dealer. Maybe even more.
It is fairly obvious that this part is flawed in some way. We'll see how it goes but please don't panic. The dealer is co-operative and he's looking to help in whatever way.

Here are 2 pics of the crack which is actually 25mm/1' long.
The crack is approx 90* to the edge, not the grey line parallel to the edge.

Mine looks similar, here are the pictures:
The quality of the material the lip is made of is not great, it feels like a plastery carboard. As Ofey said he will try to get me some compensation and I after I find out what the dealer is going to do I might try to drill another hole or two to attach it to the car.
