Further to my advice though:
The one thing you have to be aware of is the higher running cost

1. You'll need to run Premium Petrol (95 is the lowest grade it'll take)
2. You get less out of a full tank by well over 100km
3. Servicing if you don't have capped price is like a robbery.

But as Gramps put it, if you can stretch out to it, do it.

Had my VR-X for about a week now and really enjoying the car. Has everything you need and given how clogged and policed the roads are these days you can't use all the power it has as it is...

Prob will get a reverse camera fitted but that's about it...

I went to visit mitsubishi yesterday. Checked out VRX auto, SX and the ASX activ. I guess it all comes down to how much Im willing to spend. I didnt want to touch the RA because I know that I will end up spending more than I have already budgeted for. The VRX doesnt have the performance that I would like, but you get what you pay for.
I also went to see a 2008 2.4l manual privately, however im highly precaucious about private sale.

Does anyone have a obd2 reader i can borrow? :P
or
know where i can buy one locally.

1. You don't want to spend more than you've budgeted + VRX doesn't have the performance you're looking for

Performance not good enough, look Elsewhere. Don't buy a VRX nor a Lancer.

2. 2008 2.4L Manual

You could take me along. I've seen so many of these cars, I can tell you if its safe or not.

3. Why do you need an OBD2 reader?
