Hi Guys, I'm Fox.
Just bought my Folk's 1997 red GLI Lancer, only done about 130k KM.
I am wondering, what can I do, modification wise too it? I read somewhere a while ago about sticking an older EVO motor in it. Dad's into cars, got a cobra, a daytona and a Jensen, so tools and such is not a problem, I am just wondering, what can I do to my lancer?
Cheers
Fox

Being an older model lancer you will probably get more information over at mlga.

You can put a 4G63T (Evo motor), 4G92/93 (Mivec twin cam engines) Or even the FTO motors will go in them.
If you want to install the evo motor, the gearbox will need to be modified to be FWD only. You can make it AWD, but it is a serious amount of work.
The 4G92/93 would be the easiest conversion if you can find a motor etc...
