^ Like :D

Been looking at rims for a very long time, finally going to happen! *biggrin1*

We are getting 18x8.5 +38, with 235/40/18 tyres. Hopefully I won't need to roll the rear guards...

Also got a possible lead on a tuner. Anyone had any experience with Allstar Garage?

:( so you think I'lll I need to roll the rear guards?

He did a test fit (without tyres) and it looked ok :S

I was more concerned with it hitting suspension parts etc due to the lower offset, but from memory a lot of people are running +38 with no issues...

Is anyone running 18x8.5 +38? My car is lowered on eibach springs too, Aaron's isn't though...yet :P

Ok NOW we have rims :D

There was no gunmetal left unfortunately, much to David's disappointment. But we got matte black instead which looks boss! The new rims have really pointed out the fact I need to get the car lowered though, looks like it's on stilts...

Are they hitting your guards Dave?

It was night time when the wheels finally went on, but the black looks bloody good on the grey IMO :)

The black looks pretty darn good on the blue aswell, really happy I got the blue lug nuts as well :D

Only had the drive home, but with 4 x 18" wheels and tyres in the back there was no scraping - including when I went over a few speed bumps.

So far so good (cj-blue) 8)

Just for Ravi... :P

Here is David's rims getting put on. Note the Honda perched directly above Dave's car ready to fall hahaha

I'll let him post proper pictures of his, mainly because I don't have any. His seriously looks sweet though.

Aaron, how did you transfer your contacts across? Did you have to do it manually?

Looking good guys :)

Ravi my rims cost less than $1200 including air freight from America. Wait until you need new tyres and use that as an excuse.
Generally the people who care enough about their wheels to repaint them are just going to go aftermarket eventually anyway... :P

Yep...some very wise words there :)
I've been looking at something from Tirerack....but I dont want to spend too much at the moment. So may as well just paint the rims(for now) to get that monkey off my back :P and I know I'll probably mess them up!

Lets see...

There was a JDM WA bikini car wash today at Churchlands high school, in tribute of James Tan who passed away in a motorbike accident not too long ago. All of the proceeds went towards his 180sx build that he was un-able to complete. Got a nice shot of my car getting cleaned (:
