Yeah they seem good for that price range.

You should check around though.

Try Ebay.

You could probably find that model a lot cheaper on Ebay.

Do you know if they are easy to install? Ill prob struggle more taking the door panel off lol

they are really good speakers for rear doors. for front speakers (where u sit in the car as the driver) i normally look at $200, or $350+ for splits.

Kicker do make very good speakers.

doing the install yourself will save money and give u a feeling of satisfaction.

I can take photos of mine and send them to you to give you a step by step tutorial on how to do it if you would like.

Splits are just as the work suggests...

They split the woofer from the tweeter giving you better sound quality from both and good quality ones often come with a crossover box to aid with the splitting of sound signal even more.

Where as the 2-way speakers have the woofer and tweeter connected in the one speaker which is why they are good for your rear doors. :)

No not much more complicated to install.. the crossover boxes aren't big and will fit snug in a out of sight location whilst the tweeter you can install anywhere you like either sitting up on the dash or mounted inside your door somewhere.

It's really up to you as far as placement of the tweeter goes the vrx is installed on the inside of the window in the plastic triangle bit adjacent the side mirrors...
