Dear respected men and women, with all due deference and respect, with the acknowledgement I may just be odd and am still a newbie, and only to open the lines of discussion...

Does it bother anyone else the giant sigs people have on every single post they do, causing you to endlessly scroll down the 3 actual lines of text that will fit on each page, while attracting the eye of everyone else passing by at work with a giant blinking angel, or other... mark of personal flair.

If so, could we not discuss the potential opening of possibility of discourse about a small height limit being set on sigs? If you disagree, please be gentle.

Nah, i'm joking. I'm sure the admins could make an option to disable signatures to be displayed or something similar.

In the constitution, In section 9.1.4 concerning signatures:
Signatures can only be 255 Characters long (including bbcode) and pictures in signatures should be maximum 400 pixels wide and 120 high at most.

Since the committee is busy with elections etc an they are currently shorthanded, this hasn't been policed as well as it used to be. However when the new comm comes into play, I'm sure the moderators and admin will be notifying members to change their signature if it violates rules as above.

Thanks for bringing it up though, you'll just have to be patient.

I couldn't agree more. The signature files have bothered me for years... . Some pictures actually make the cars look worst than they do... .

I find that all the stuff on the left side of the page takes up way more space than necessary.

There aren't many large signatures on here (to me, on a 24")

Mine is a bit too high for my liking, but IIRC I made it to be the exact width limit stated on user controls

Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 200 pixels, the height no greater than 200 pixels, and the file size no more than 2453 KB.

It consumes pretty much my whole 21" screen, is white and twinkles, and makes me want to kill. It makes work stealth browsing difficult ... but I don't know if I'm just being difficult or not.

I don't have a problem with Doreens angel. I have a problem with the size of squala's car on that page more than anything. Doreens angel is rather small compared to some of the stuff.

A Question Cody ... Are you useing Internet Explorer at your work ? As ClubCJ works best with " Fire Fox " Thats coming from "Mattigins ' as when I have used Internet Explorer I have noted on my screen That "The Angel Is Giant " But on My Fire Fox it is only small ..... I have had my signature for a couple of years now & I have not had any complaints about it so if any one else has a problem with it or it is annoying anyone please let me know ....
