Yeah I just wasn't sure. Cutting holes in the side of the car wouldn't be on my list of things to do. I wasn't too keen on having the license plate holes filled heh.

However they do look great on the evo. :)

I'll admit that I chickened out of buying it as I didn't want to cut anything. Look the V-Lip is attached by screws but they're under the car and no one will mind holes there but cutting.... Now that's something else.

To be honest my tyres are ricey. I used a marker to mark out the Yokohama name and logo :-P

As for the side vents. Say you cut a hole behind the vents, don't forget your wheel arch doesn't have the vent either. So it vents ermmm NO WHERE.

That's not so bad, at least it is aesthetically pleasing.

As opposed to say...a scoop on a bonnet that leads to nowhere :P

That's ok - you'd only be able to tell up close hahaha.

Just make sure when the steel is cut that appopriate rust prevention treatment is applied is all I can say!

Plenty of people with Commodores have done it though to put those VZ style cut out things in the front quarter panels of models that didnt come with them.

^^ Yup. I suggested my place for a host. Can get around 10 cars to fit in my street comforably. So melbourne members who are interested in doing a modification to their car and not sure to go about it, check out the melbourne cruise thread. Details about it will be posted soon.

These lips will look great on our cars, and we can put up a how to for all to see

keep me in the loop mate.

i sent ofey a pm today and going to get a center lip.

my only gripe with the front bumber of the lancer, is always thought it looked unfinished.

get this mod, get someone to airbrush it a high gloss black, will look cool.
