Insurance with undeclared mods

the loophole they used was that i hadnt notified them of an addition to the car - regardless of what it was.
i didnt tell them about it being in the car therefore they pulled my insurance.
i contested it to RACQ internal appeals board and they upheld the decision, and then to the Insurance Ombudsman and he/she sided with RACQ
someone (sam?) menationed they could defeat me in court saying the stereo can go over a certain dB level, any car stereo can, even factory ones breach 100dB without the addition of a subwoofer (proven march 2006 when i scored 117dB on factory 5x7 and factory 6x9 speakers)
when this all happened (nov 21 2007) i refused to ever go back to RACQ
Shannons wont touch me, Just Car wont touch me... both citing that my cars are deemed a "high theft or vandalism" target due to having in excess of $20 000 worth of stereo inside them (even though i dont change the outside of the car)
AAMI gave me FULL comprehensive insurance on my $2500 1992 Nissan Pintara that had over $50 000 worth of stereo on agreement that i NEVER altered the outside of the vehicle... no paintjob, no body kit, no mags etc.
i agreed
i now have my CJ with AAMI and youve all seen or heard of the stereo gear im running, more competition grade gear - $5500 just one one amp
AAMI FTW

normally i wouldnt disclose this, but i pay my insurance monthly with AAMI.
i know this adds up to be more then if i paid it once a year, but monthly is just easier for me.
$93.25 per month full comprehensive insurance
now, im also 28 years old with rating one and platnium membership with no accident claims
