Tower bars... I'm actually not sure if they really affect the car as much as sway bars.

The SP23 and SP25 I'm sure don't have tower bars but they handle very well...

i'm so sad the new lancer VRXs have leather interiors :( but, i think the new front is shit and i certainly don't like the rims. might duck down to a dealer and have a look though.

worst thing they ever did was remove the option of a sunroof from the VRX

Hi Guys,

On the mits australia website, the MY12 ralliart "luxury pack" has HIDs included...!!!

Go and price a ralliart lancer - it gives you the option for adding a luxury pack.

I should be getting my MY12 es sedan next week. its my first lancer and when i test drove it on friday i was impressed. the electronic steering feels smooth and the handling is pretty good compared to my old 94 celica. the performance of the engine was good, alot better than previous models ive road tested when i was a mechanic. overall i have to say they are a great car.

An old thread, I know.
Bought an Oct 2011 ES with the electric steering, second hand.
Gets 7.6 L/100 km around town without trying too hard, so the claimed improvement in fuel consumption for the 2012 model sounds correct.

Readout can be set to UK MPG, works out to 32 MPG. Last time I got that, was in a 40 HP VW on the open road.
