The manufacturer now has offered us a set of each.

I'll be willing to take the jump on a set of the first or second set (the ones that come in black or chrome) of headlights as long as they have proper parker lights in them and depending on price. It's a little hard to see from some of the pics.

Let me know if your able to find this out and we can go from there if you want?

OK there are 3 on offer:

1. Black Face Projector Headlamp with DRL style - SONAR
2. Chrome Face Projector Headlamp with DRL style - SONAR
3. Black Face Projector Headlamp with CCFL Ring and LED - Eagle Eyes

Ideally I'd like to bring in one of each to judge quality.

None of them come with DRLs. You can however rewire them yourselves to get them to simulate as DRLs.

They are plug and play for the headlamps and high beams and signal lights.

If you plug and play them as DRLs, the CFLs and eagle eyes will come on instead.


The price range will be around the A$350-400 mark per set delivered to the buyer.

These are NOT made by the manufacturer we deal with for our tail lamps nor body kits.
He is doing us a favour by getting these to test.
So he cannot guarantee quality.

I don't have any spare cash to take these on a trial for you people so I need willing parties to step up and do what I did with the tail lamps.

so you are saying for 2 headlamps it will cost between 700 and 800 dollars

That includes price of postage? Or is it still an extra $100-150 on top of $350-400?

Also I'm not quite sure I follow you with the DRL when you say:

I suspect A$400 tops will get it to your doorstep. That's based on:

A$280 Cost of set
A$70 R.O.C. to Australia
A$30 Aus Courier
A$20 Any variances of the above.

But that's the worst case scenario.
I don't like underquoting and asking for more money.

Remember this is not a group buy. I am test buying 1 of each set. So the group buy may get this cheaper.

Your head lamps have 3-4 things requiring plugs:
1&2 . Head lamp + High Beam (usually merged into a single plug)
3. Signal light
4. DRL

So this is no different.

from what I've understand you can interconnect where your current DRL goes to, to what drives the CFLs and the eagle eye.

If you still cannot understand me, I would think that you will need someone else to explain it to you.
