the back looks like a beamer and the front looks like a gtr....

Yeah come to think of it the front does remind me of a gtr

it looks alot different to the original concept design

i expected it to look really different from concept tho.... but overal side profile seems to be the same at least.... but i must admit the interior looks really really good

yeah, concept cars never look the same as the original drawings, the styling is always too 'futuristic'

I wonder when it'll go into production and be on sale

lol everyone loved the concept cuz of those awesome DRLs but none on the production model.... apparently supposed to go on sale 2nd half of 2012 but when it will come to aus its all just speculation....

To me the front is a mini LFA and the back is a very done up kia

Not hating on it though... It'll probably be quite eyecatching... I just hope its power-to-weight ratio is good enough.

Those pictures include some "Modellista" parts apparently, so the actual production version might be even more mundane than those posted by Jake.

I love this car more and more everytime I see it. I agree those DRL's were cool, but I'm more interested in the 200bhp, 1100kg, RWD and Manual! Give me that (or more power if you like

) and I'll be a happy man

TBH I'm ok with the more "normal" look of the white one. It still has twin exhaust, a sharkfin, some nice angles etc etc

I just wish Toyota made this:

Honestly one of the coolest concepts I've seen for a while!

Is it really meant to be 1100kg? It looks too big for that

Modern cars often weigh more than you think they would cos of all the crash safety and stuff

Toyota apparently said it would be "about 100kg lighter than car x", can't remember the car but the article I read said it weighed around 1200kg. Sooo...yeh, it really is meant to be 1100kg. Although its also meant to only cost $30,000...we will see I guess...

Scions are nice, but nahhh

the below car is pretty tempting.. 23.5k for a very base model 2.5l manual

aftermarket headlights with built in CFFL angel eyes... $600ish
M front bar painted.. probably $1500ish
aftermarket side skirts painted probably $800ish
some nice matte black rims with new shoes $2000ish
add some more speakers and maybe oem steering wheel controls $1000ish?

I'm still ahead a bit, kinda?

S54 motor... 5-7k?
forged internals.. 4k
supercharger kit 8k
exhaust 1-2k

oooookay those last ones was just me dreaming a bit
