The porsche looked better in person if you ask me but its still not good enough for what its meant to be... It was black with black wheels.
Actually looked kinda like a stretched lancer sportback :P (its a really big car).

I am in desperate need of new tyres, so if you want to sell me your VRX wheels now is the perfect time (please?).

no skyline until november now :(

seller changed his mind and can't sell until early nov

so rather than keep looking for another one
(I acctually got an offer to trade a skyline for my small bike +cash which is for sale yesterday too!)
i'll save up some $$ for the 2 months so my loan will be a bit smaller.

once I'm bored of the 33 i'll sell that and upgrade to something much more expensive & faster :P

tried popping a wheelie on the way to work in first and the clutch slipped and wouldn't lift up :\

You should be able to pick up an R33 for less than 12k... they are very old these days and most are not treated nice!
I have a 3 year old son who KNOWS i should drive faster! So why do i get fined?!?

yeah the one I'm getting was 8k - fairly cheap, it's in really good condition but the downside is high km's

my plan is if/when the engine blows I can replace the rb25 or build a 30/25 and then get a bigger turbo and go for 400+hp at the rears

That or when I've had enough of the 33 i'll sell it & buy a better car, maybe an r34 gtr if i have a spare 40k laying around :P

What up dawgs.

I'm looking at Rota G-Force, 18 x 8.5, 5x114.3, +44 rims with 225/40/18 tyres, that should fit right?

I can't decide between the Rota G-Force and the Rota DPT rims... Opinions? They're kind of the same, but not...

Hi Aaron,

Looking at the two I like the look of the G-Force better, what color were you looking at? As for sizing I would have absolutely no idea, know next to nothing about wheels :P

Fantastic, G-Force it is :) I'm going with VisionR in O'Connor and on their website they only have the gun metal grey colour. :(

I say get the DPT...because I want the G-Force!

I've been looking at these guys, pretty sure they are the Rota distributor (at least for WA).

http://www.rotawheels.com.au/products/category/?limitstart=0&limit=50

They have deals for 18" wheels + Nexen N6000 (same tyres as Rahul) for $1650 - although fitting and balancing are extra.

If they are willing to do a deal for multiple purchases then I might buy some at the same time :)

Haha, I have been waiting for my tyres to die, and my car to get tuned....which hasn't happened...long story.

I do really like the Rota G-Force, the reason it's taken me so long to decide is because I've trying to decide whether to spend big or not. My choice of Rota's should indicate that Ive decided not to spend big on this car and wait until I get a few more promotions and spend big on my next car :D

VisionR is approx about 1600 including fitting and balancing. I'll see if he'll do a special deal for two sets.

If I want lowering springs as well, should I get them to do it at the same time? Or is it easy to do myself?

Well good luck anyway :P

I need new tyres yesterday so I've relaxed my attempts at getting wheels off somebody... Out of time
