I just bought VRX Sportback and it has privacy glass. what is the go with window tint?
Do you guys tint the rear windows or just the fronts? If you tint the whole lot dows it still appear that the rear windows are twice as dark?

I was thinking 18% on the fronts and 35% on the backs to even it out

You can't legally tint privacy glass. Privacy glass is darker than the darkest legal tint so you can't make them match unless you flout the law...

If you are just after aesthetics, get the fronts done.
If you want the fronts to match the rear privacy glass, you'll have to go illegal (<20%) most places can do it for cash and no receipt.

I got my fronts done in darkest legal (35%) and it's already pretty dark at night looking out. It doesn't quite match the rears but it's better than totally clear.

yeah the totally clear on the front is no good. I heard that the privacy glass has no UV properties at all. is this true?

I have had previous cars with 12% tint, looks great but at night you can't see anything without headlights *crazy*
