Nice Rob....which Coil-Overs did you buy.

Haven't seen in long time Rob (since the Go-Kart Meet at Minto) and I like your new ride ..... just a little quicker than the old Red model hey.....

Hope to see you again, soon at another meet.

PS: Getting my Aspire Merlinised again tomorrow.
Merlin wants to tweak-up my tune so that MiztaB doesn't get too cocky...

Hi Sam, it has been a while definately be good to catch up. They are BC type BR Coilovers.

Shane, I only drove it home as I am hoping to find someone open tomorrow to get a wheel alignment, the camber needs to be adjusted. I will play with the setting over the next couple of weeks. Gotta love the extensions for the rear that let you adjust the firmness from the boot.

I didn't really want to go that low but it's already growing on me

Try running 10 clicks from soft in the front, and about 13 clicks from soft in the rear.

That's a good start and tweak from there.

You may find you need to raise it up a little after the springs settle.

Currently set at 12 from soft at the front & 10 at rear. Should the rear be firmer than the front?

Even though it is lower than I was planning I thought I would leave the height as is until it settles & reassess it in 2-3 weeks.

I tend to run the rear a little harder to stop the car squatting.

Everyone is different, so just play around till you find a setting that you are happy with :)

I was running the focus at 15clicks front and back, backed the front off to 10clicks and left the back at 15 and am happy. It is obviously a different car to what you have though....

very nice Rob, you will love them.

for damper im running, 15 front, and 23-27 (not sure where but around there) too hard but have to set it there to prevent it scrubbing too hard. just have a try at setting it. you will soon find the sweet spot for the roads you go around.

I looked at my car today. It's stuck in the carport. The other day the girls bogged one of their cars in the sloped driveway and now I can't get mine out. It's extremely wet still and ripped to pieces. Bit of a bugger.

Yeah the concrete bits that go down to the carport are off to the side close to the fence. When they actually get to the carport they are lined up with the side wall :( Hubby has been meaning to concrete the whole thing but hasn't got around to it. It is on a hill.

When the grassy bit around the concrete bits gets wet it gets very slippery. It hasn't stopped raining in weeks. We were one of the towns that flooded last week.

It's OK if I am getting mine out because I can manage it and I head towards the fence and up the hill. If you're just going into the top bit you park on the concrete strips. The girls didn't put it on to the concrete strips. That would have been smart but it meant not going in straight. They parked it between them on the grass. When it came to getting it out they dug the hell out of my driveway and then came and asked me to come and get it out. It took a lot but I did.

I was hoping that the wind would dry it out over the last couple of days but it's still as yucky. It doesn't get much sun there.
