Sorry, will keep you updated as I know, the long weekend didnt help anything.

As far as I'm aware you dismantle the interior, undo the original cloth trim, rip it out and replace it?

Looking at the cost, time for install and the fit... I would say its retrim and not a cover...

$1000 for seat covers
$1000 for complete trim :D

Hello :)

As for the install Brian is correct you are required to pull the factory covers off your seats. This requires you pulling the seats out and un-doing the covers one c-clip at a time (pliers is all you need here).

I will not lie this is a time consuming task it took me a full day for the front seats and another for the rear with around half a day for the door cards. The how to guide provided by shadows is all you need it is very detailed with 600+ photos to help you through plus all the required tools.

Don't let the amount of work scare you, this was my first attempt at any sort of upholstery any mine I feel turned out as good as OEM I only have one very slight crease in the bottom of the back seat.

I originally thought they were the complete trim.. makes sense for the cost.

Thanks Chubb :D

If you attempt to do everything in one day, surely its going to be hard... . Do one thing at a time... .

I say get them. Have a look at the instructions. Study them. Get a mate to look a them too. Then if you decide not, sell them for what you paid.

time consuming yes hard no.

ubolt/unscrew the seat, peal back the original cover, remove all existing c-clips, add leather as instructed adding new clips as you go.

I recommend starting with the back seat bottom and go from there, this will introduce you to the job at hand in a gentle fashion.

Just as an update, We're now down to 7 buyers. All have paid but andrewh88 has asked to change his design. I've given him up till tonight to give me a new order form.

Will pay tomorrow then all the wheels will be in motion!

Thanks for your input Chubb, I saw your leather at the QMF cruise and it looked like it was OEM, OEM quality, OEM fit. Looked really nice!
