Can I just point out where it will fail?

Front NA Bumper Bar is only about A$600.
RA Front is A$2000.

Better you do the rear bumper bars.
The RA Rear is cheaper than NA Rear.
But you do have to fork out for either a used RA/Evo Dual tip exhaust or a custom dual.

Just a question because cant find a straight answer any where, even from the NRMA.

What insurance company will cover my car with mods of CAI, Exhaust, Body kit, Lowering, 18" rims? Note: My car is an ES.

Also If your not a fault does the person at fault cover your car regardless of modifications?

You need to declare it to your insurer as a non-standard modification which will result in a higher premium.

If you are not at fault, the insurer only reimburses you as per your policy as far as I know. They take on the job of chasing after the other person.

Thanks for the quick replies.
Okay I just got some information from Just Car, NRMA and AAMI.

Nrma - Will cover everything as long as it meets RTA standards and dubs them legal.

JustCar - Will cover unlimited amounts of LEGAL modifications.

AAMI - Won't cover modifications.

So in my standing both NRMA and JustCar are the same for me. But would the modifications I have be deemed illegal? *Stares at the CAI*

I found that odd as well considering JustCar is underwritten my AAMI.
Welps its a definite no no for AAMI if they dont care about me.

So with insurance companies you have to ask them to cover additional modifications?

I told NRMA about mine they said its fine, you dont have to tell us about it. But make sure its legal or else we wont cover you. T.T

All you have to do is just increase the agreed value for the mods you want to cover. I'd be a bit dubious about the "make sure it's legal or we wont cover you", I'm sure they'll happily try one on and decline your claim any which way they can for any reason they can dream up, however, I'd like to see them legally justify, if you rear end someone and try and blame your noisy non-EPA complying exhaust for reason to decline cover. I'm sure some legal representation experienced in contracts, would set them straight quick smart.
