I'm interested always to try and help everyone cut the cost of living so I want to garner some information.
One of the biggest bills we face is that of Energy. Electricity and Gas.
I'd like to gather the data regarding all our states which I will add below. You should be able to add all the information from your bill in the format I've shown below. So just copy and paste and fill in your details. all the information should be on your bill.
I hope all of you can help contribute to this and help each other save more. I don't think there's a better supplier than mine in VIC. I'm not advertising but I want to know if my research is any good.
VIC
1. ofey - Household Size = 4 adults , Supplier = Lumo Energy
Early Pay Discount = 13%
Electricity (standard tarrif, no contracts)
Usage Rate = $0.176300
Service to property Rate = $0.532100
Gas (standard tarrif, no contracts)
Usage Rate = $0.016629

Electricity = 4080 kWs

Notes:
Hot water is gas powered from a central building boiler.
All lights/lamps are replaced with fluro replacements
I have 3 PCs running 24x7 and 500L fridge.
I avoid using the dryer where possible.
i do shift work so being up all night until AM with lights on is not unusual.
I refuse to go on a "contract" where i can't get out of it, but they can increase their prices...some contract. pfft.
