Technically? No. It'd have to be white to be legal on the front.

red and blue could be considered very bad
orange (indicators) could also be considered bad
green, possibly but doubtful.

information on emergency lights can be found at http://www.transport.wa.gov.au/LBU_VS_B ... gLamps.pdf

it's fairly generic across all states but take that with a grain of salt :)
