From what I know, there are 3 types of LED taillights. Chrome, Smoked and Black. The ones that meaty has should be the smoked ones and the ones that psytrix has are the black i think.

oh really? hmm that really is a bit confusing then...did you get yours from customstreetfx?

i know that customstreetfx stock the smoked and black ones. Their smoked ones are the ones that meaty has and their black ones are the ones that you have i think. Perhaps its just different sellers calling them different names.

I got my "Smoked" Tail-lights from Ofey and Ofey said there is not much difference with the "Smoked and the Clear "

To chime in on this, I remember mentioning there was little difference between the smoked and chrome tail lamps. Put side by side on cars, you really cannot tell the difference based on the tint.

One thing I did notice with the chrome ones were that there was a black outline border around the lamps. The smoked ones didn't have it.

That's why I went for the chrome ones.

The company who produced these were also aware of the lack of difference and that's what produced the BLACKed out version for those who wanted them darker.

Nope. Market is too small and manufacturing is too difficult apparently due to the curvature.
There is also lack of a design. The sedan ones were a direct rip off of the Lancer IO in Taiwan so really a Mitsubishi designed tail lamp verbatim.

The concept SportBack design is quite elaborate and pretty challenging to copy.

Ofey's Good Explanation on The Tail-lights might help clear the difference's up .... And When I had a second look at Patrick's Light's it looks like he has the smoked one's (Sorry Patrick ) As Patrick's First pic's looks like they are The smoked one's But the second pic's they look Black .... Probably the different lighting

Well.. Smoked or black... Or what ever the hell they are.. I'm glad I got the ones I have! - The second picture was pretty dark though - would be more correct in the first picture.
