hi guys, i sincerley apologise for my news warning the other day, it was way over the top and unnesessary.

my only excuse is that i was tired, time poor, and isolated from u guys.

All good Stevo, nothing against you personally mate but i did find it was a little over the top, i was going to talk to you about it personally but you did the right thing and took it down and put up this apology, thank you.

We have a pretty good bunch on people here in QLD, you & Sue included Steve and i know that we all conduct ourselves with the best interests of CCJ in mind. We do have a need for more meets, a lot of the members prefer a good old fashioned Street meet over an organized cruise so this is something we need to look into and add a few more regular street meets to supplement the organized cruises.

I can't speak for others, however the post did annoy me quite a bit - but mainly because it wasn't open for discussion (I'm probably the slowest driver in the QLD crew!)

I would like to add, on behalf of the ClubCJ committee, that this issue is being addressed internally and Steve's apology is of his own accord.

If anyone does feel like they would like to make any further comments, please PM directly, and your comments will be taken into consideration as we determine what decisions and actions need to be made.

I gather this has something to do with the Mt Tamborine racing thing...
I admit it did come across as a bit of a blunt warning but figured it might have been a response to something that had happened (poor decisions/actions) that had led to it... at the end of the day a pre-emptive warning to all is better than something bad happening then all of us wishing someone had said something sooner.

I like how if i rage at people and apologize i get in more shit and get banned,

but no he goes completely off his nutter with no proper info besides something someone wrote, and apologizes he gets a slap on the wrist, i love the utter fairness in this admin system.

I didn't think it was too harsh, infact we have similar rules at another car club which I help run in qld.

It is already in the rules here too.

I think people took offence more to the execution, and lack of detail that the post had in it.

I was once Admin so I understand the obligations, and that leaders need to stress the rules to make the club safe and not targeted by police etc.

The rules have to be there and are, but need to be enforced in a calm and respectful manner.
