I suspect you will need new bonnet, front guards, bumper, radiators and radiator supports.

It does not look like any major structural damage to the shell so it will be repaired.

I would think quotes for less then $10K to fix all the damage.

There is no way that car will be a write off for parts.

I would have to agree Mike
Unless the chassis rails were totalled or the shell twisted or bent that damage will be repairable
Keep us posted on the progress
Cheers Chris.

They wrote off the black one for hail damage...

That was the bonnet, all 4 quarter panels, roof and boot lid.

This is half that, plus respray on all, plus mechanical...

Don't kill the hope i have :-)

Based on the picture, I don't think its a write off.

However, it depends very much what damage the front structural bar behind your evo nose piece has suffered.

Unlikely, that you will see this one written off... .

I can also see why the airbag didn't deploy - not a hard enough hit. I've seen worse damage and bags not go off when 2 big 4x4s collided. Shame, because airbags are VERY expensive to replace...

following is a summary of my conversation with the assessor today...

Me - so whats the verdit
Assessor - we deem it to be repairable
M - fair enough - how much damage was under the bonnet?
Ass - excuse me?
M - when you opened the bonnet and or got it up on a hoist - how much damage was ther?
Ass - we have not done that yet.
M - why not?
Ass - we can't get the bonnet open
M - so how do you know its repairable?
Ass - we are assuming it is until its quoted on
M - so your NOT sure its repairable then
Ass - we may have to review our descision yes

*SIGH*

You haven't even seemed to consider a different car? Lucky you if you know what you want though :)

Ironically i CAN'T take any other car then an EVOX...

Its done through my work on a novated lease... so I HAVE to have an EVOX for the next 4 years, unless the nsurance company pay it out... which they won't as I have new for old replacement in the policy...

So its EVOX for me for the next 4 years!

Sorry Josh, there is a line for those wheels (and if you read back I'm at the front of it :D)
