What did you do on your car today?

I drove just 5 km's this week, she's so neglected.
Had the car for just over a year and only have 4200 Km's on it.
But think of the resale value...hmm.

GAH !!!! Mine is 3 yrs old last week, and I've just clocked 75,000...
I installed my replacement cabin & Air-Con Air Filter today.... and was shocked at the state of it....
I had seen the photo from the Maintenance DIY: Change Pollen Filter (Aircon Filter) thread that Graham posted when he changed his at 30,000kms, but I was not expecting the colour and condition of mine.... totally black, and with all sorts of stuff in it...
I would recommend and suggest all of you swap this filter if your car is over 12-18 months old...

I took mine for it's first real trip on the weekend. Went from Gloucester to Lithgow down through Sydney. It did 7.3 l/100km on the way down and 6.8 l/100km back. Not too bad eh Hubby even let me drive half way. He usually drives everywhere all the time and it doesn't matter whose car it is. He decided that he could drive everywhere in it no worries. It was extremely comfy.
Now I'm home it's beeping at me and telling me it's time for it's 1500km service. I suppose I better ring up now and get that done this week before I have to take it to Wagga Wagga next week for residential school for uni.
As a side note do you realise that the Lancer is as big as a Holden Craptiva. Hubby cleaned the shed out in Lithgow to get the Craptiva in and be able to just shut the roller door. I could only just get the Lancer in and close the door. The Lancer is a little bit (but not that much) skinnier than the Holden though. The Craptiva is as long as a VE Commodore by the way because hubby parks beside one at work and they're about the same length. So basically the Lancer is as long as a new Commodore but probably skinnier than it.
When I thought I was picking between a Lancer and a Mazda 3 I was in fact getting the equivalent to a Mazda 6. That's cool because that's what I really wanted but couldn't afford the $33000 price tag. And when an old 6 (I actually loved the old models and hate the new ones) went past yesterday I realised how similar the Lancer and older 6 are and am extremely happy I got what I did.
