From what we're seeing so far, it's pretty clear, we can move on en masse as a club.

The FT-86 is definately on the short list.
or even the Hybrid
The Kia Koup if they put the 2.4l and CVT in it, it already has paddle shift

I have already checked out the New Optima Platinum, sensational car with absolutely everything, only thing is it is a Falcon size car, i don't need a big car anymore, Damn
Also the upcoming Opel Astra Vxr
[img]http://www.clubcj.net/img/images/20110321050526_Opel_VXR(1)%20[625x322]%20.jpg[/img]
Could also consider the New Focus XR5 2.0l Turbo
I also like the Golf GTi, but it is looking a little dated and doesn't look like changing anytime soon

im thinking of sticking with the lancers, once i'm off my p's im thinking of getting a ralliart.
i can move the majority of my mods straight to it, and have a turbo'd vehicle

Currently thinking of a BMW E60 525i Can't afford the new model F10 528i.
But I agree with the majority, FT86 (Having worked for Toyota) is definitely coming and would definitely be on my mind.
Another one I thought of was the Skyline V36/G37. But being an import only car for now, that has been a bit of a long shot.

If anyone can find estimate pricing for the 86 that'd be awesome :)
I can't see it being over $50k, its meant to be 'entry-level'.
The big thing will be how much more it costs because this is Australia...
All options for me I can think of:
370z (not a fan of 350z's. Both a little bulkier than I'm after)
S2000 (quite possible. Kinda girly but I'm hardly a man's man)
Silvia S15 (kinda typical and rice and overpriced)
Btw I'm a 20 y/o pizza delivery driver so I wont be buying an 86 new as soon as they come out $16/h ftw.
The 'second car' dream might be MANY years in the future for me, but I'll see how I go
