st bernards beer garden is spectacular, u can see new zealand.

mt tambourine, the scenic rim, the mountain roads, on brisbanes doorstep halfway between the gold coast and brisbane...........................................

imo - All National Meets are combined records for Club CJ

All Local/State meets can and should include any 'guests' from other States who have taken the time and the Kms to join their fellow Club CJ'ers.....

Qld Venue need to accomodate 40+ vehicles.... On a weekend it needs to be a deserted Carpark or somewhere in the open. Anything inner city Brisbane, or vantange spots would be too small to cater for the amount of cars
If you're thinking Brisbane more than Gold Coast way then I would suggest >>

Murrarie Recreational Grounds or even Minippi Parklands...

Close to the Gateway to cruise down the coast for Hinterland Twisties....

So who is going to organise, buy, prepare and cook all the food and drinks for the OLD Record Breaking Meet. :?:

Its so much easier to just call for members to attend a meet with the express intention of setting a new record,
however in the interest of fair play, how about organising the meet along the same manner of BBQ Picnic that I did.

Surely someone in QLD is up-to it. :roll:

I have been at every major record breaking meet since I joined the club...

The best thing is if I do make it up there, I don't count for the record anymore :twisted:

Oh and Steve... no I am not hiring a CJ

If I can get a couple of days off and a place to crash, I may make the trek
