Even if you could find one, I doubt it'd work very sensibly.
Did you know that for the OEM one, you'd still need to turn the fake key to ACC at least? before you can press the button to start the car. I need to go see a Mitsubishi ASX and figure it out.

I believe it can be done.
You would need to get one which integrates into the CAN BUS system that all new cars use.
The issue with the ebay one is that there is a chance it is not going to be very good quality.
I personally wouldn't skimp on something so important as security, and if something goes wrong with an ebay one there is little to no backup support.

ASX one works differently to the $500 dealer fit button for the Lancer
it works from your pocket, no need to turn the knob (there is no knob) just press the button. there is a slot in the glovebox to put the fob in if the battery is flat (emergency slot)

After market, the best option is probably the Viper SmartStart system which integrates with their alarms.
It's got an app for iPhone, Android and Blackberry for that extra bit of awesome.

You can put the push button start into the CJ but what we are saying is you still have to turn the ignition on to ACC before the button will work. Which is a bit of a waste since you where almost to the point of starting the car. What this thread is trying to ascertain is whether you can use a aftermarket option so you don't have to touch the ignition.

after market remote starter system
Hi guys!
I found a remote starter system on eBay (not sure if this link will work - PM me if you want it!)
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/131002367804 ... EBIDX%3AIT
Not sure if it will work, but claims to utilise the standard remote that comes with the car (push lock x3).
So far the cheapest option I have found to get remote start to work on my 2011 Ralliart Lancer... Will look into it a bit more and let you guys know if I end up getting it to work.
