To Buy Or Not To Buy - Ipod Touch 8GB
Hey guys, i need your oppinion on something...
Im looking at getting a Ipod touch, but im really weary when it comes to touch screens, never liked them that much, but from what ive heard the ipod touch's screen and software is very intuitive.
What is the battery life like? Im only really gunna be using at school, and not even going to be using it ALL during class. probley be listening to it for about 3 hours a day and probley on the way home in the car since my new headunit has direct ipod control.
Another factor ive considered is the apps. And i already know the first app im going to get, Dynolicious. Ive seen the reviews, some positive, some not so postive, but for something i can download that gives me readings out on my car, im not going to complain.
Hows the music playback? Is it loud enough? I tend to listen to alot of rap/hip hop rock that kind of stuff.
If i get the right answers from you guys, and i read enough on the internet tonight on other peoples views im probley gunna be buying one of these tomorrow, thanks to Mr Kevin Rudd **salutes**
Any oppinions on the ipod touch is greatly appreciated, even if you dont own one, what have you heard? how do you feel about it?
Thanks guys

rumors that there are new iphones coming out in a few months... this will drop the price of iphones and ipods a considerable amount.
as for the quality, i own an iphone and you get what you pay for. As for sound quality it is decent, a headphone upgrade makes it awesome! battery life is average on the iphone but i belive the ipod is much better.

Personally I hate all things apple.
Why not consider a Samsung Omnia mobile phone (windows mobile) or wait for the HTC Magic (Google Android phone)
Also great thing about Google Android is it'll have plenty of open source apps popping up for it. The HTC magic like all good smart phones should have an accelerometer so nothing stopping someone from developing a similar app for it... besides I doubt the accuracy of dynolicious....

Whats wrong with the cd player in your car? If you want to listen to poorly recorded music such as mp3s just burn them onto a blank cd so much cheaper when they get stolen (wait people don't steal burnt cds). Invest your $100 odd dollars in a better air filter for your car.

That time is meant for learning not listening to MC Hammer or Vanila Ice
ahahahahha, with the useless teachers i have, im better off listening to music and not bothering them, than not having it and bad mouthin them when they make mistakes

one of the main things i want to get it for is the wi-fi capabilties. I recently figured out the schools wireless network password so thats another reason. But ive always been interested in apple products. The ipod i have at the moment is the Ipod Photo. and the hard drive is crashin all the time n its time for an update. and im kinda itchin for that dynolicious program. and dont bother bad mouthin it, i understand its not the most acurate thing in the world, but for what it is it does the job just fine in my oppionon.
