front seat spare plug. What is it for?

Postby aspir3 » Thu Jan 06, 2011 12:17 am

Under my front seat there is a spare wiring loom that does not have anything that plugs in to it.

I do not know what it is for.

There are 2 wiring looms that are used. 1 for seat belt warning and the other for air bag.

I wonder whether it is for leather seat heater.

Do overseas models use this? Do other models with material seats have it?

If it is the leather seat heater can I wire it up so it works?

Thank for help.

I doubt your seat has the heater in it :P
The seats probably just all share the same set of cables...

Inside the seat.

I may need to remove the leather though to see properly. I would then be able to see the heater elements.
