Those MGP caliper covers look good, but I couldn't see any for the CJ...

Anyways, I was at bunnings and saw some paint that I thought might be ok. As usual I forgot to utilize the brains trust that is CCJ and just bought the stuff.

What do you guys think, will it be ok for the calipers? It says that it is ok up to 540 degrees (on the can), or 520 if you go by the "handy hint", is that enough? I have no idea how hot a caliper would get...

I got the Metallic Charcoal colour as I thought it was a bit different to the usual red or black...

540 degrees C (1000 F)

at the moment I have the can sitting on my desk so i really hope I can use it...

Should be OK then. VHT is good for 482 deg. C.

:shock: Woah!! That website says it can stand up to 1093 deg. C!! Bit more than the little old bunnings can :P
