So do our cars take HB4/HB3's or H4/H3's?

Head light, high beam: 60watts bulb: 9005 HB3
Head light, low beam: (halogen bulb) 51watts bulb: 9006 HB4

High Beams are HB3's... Low Beams are HB4's.... aka 9005's & 9006's

Not the same as H4/H3's... Mount shapes and angles are different

I Have just brought some ICE BLUE 'Repco' Halogen Globe's For My Headlights ....The Guy Today at Repco looked on the Computer and said I needed The H4 For My 2008 Lancer ...

So Now I have Been reading Though This Thread and it's saying that the Lancers need the HB4 ....

Im buying the Philips Crystal Vision 4300K lights from Autobarn today which ive used before and i quite like, im only changing the low beams at this stage. They come with 2 x w5w lights which im going to use for the licence plate at the rear.

Any idea what lights I should get for my parkers to match the crystal visions ? I need wy5w but cant seem to find a suitable replacemnt. Any one has any ideas ?

Oh and what exactly is the "rear sidemarker: 5watts bulb: W5W 194
" ?

WY5W 194 is any 194/168 Bulb. The white LEDs do nicely....

Oh and what exactly is the "rear sidemarker: 5watts bulb: W5W 194

In the U.S. They have a lit red bulb facing out the side of the car.... There is an orange bulb on the fronts.... The LED style tailights you can buy for our CJ has them installed.
~ Volvo's & BMW's & most European cars also have them as standard on models sold here.

In my manual it said my parkers wher w5w which was awesome coz the Philips Crystal Vision comes with 2 free w5w bulbs

I put them on a few hours ago and they are a million times better than the OEM ones, they look really good without that overly blue glare that you see on some cars.

Now i need to get some of those w5w for my number plate lights at the rear. Ill have a look at the site you reccomended .

I'm looking to get the Philips Blue Visions, however I noticed that they are typically rated at 55 watts. I have seen a few 51 watt versions on eBay. Are there any noticeable differences between the two?

Just being cautious here but the manual actually has a warning stating not to use bulbs with a higher wattage. Will using a 55 watt be an issue?

any one know what blub is used for the turning lights in the EVO X MR (not the orange indicator) the turn that turns on automaticlly when you turn left or right

oh I had to read that a few times to get whats being asked.
Evo X MR, and i believe Aspire also have a 2nd headlight that lights up into turns effectively allowing them to see further into the turn so to speak. THis is referred to as AFS

Ok looking through my owners manual for my car it says it its a H11 Globe. This is actually the same globe as the fog lights.
