*CLOSED* Russian Website Parts Auto-loker GB

Postby ofey » Wed Oct 20, 2010 10:00 pm

Background
This group buy was started due to the response to this thread:

Russian Lancer specific DRLs

The problem was negotiating with the Russian sellers to sell the products to a Lancer Club in Australia. This, I am pleased to announce has been resolved. Contact has been made and a group buy has been organised.

The pricing on the site is in Russian Rubles
A good estimate is to take 1000 Russian rubles = A$33.50

Parts
The parts can be seen on autoloker.ru. Unfortunately the site is in Russian.

An English Translation of the site is available through google.

At the moment, the significant parts of interest include:

Daytime Driving Lights = R5,500 or A$185
- Fits only in place of stock NA CJ Lancer Fog Lamps (NOT RA/Evo)
Image

Lighted Mitsubishi Logo = R3,000 or A$101.00
Image

Process
This EOI will run for 2 weeks.
Following that I will submit the list of parts and the quote inclusive of shipping will be provided. You can use the conversion rate shown above to get an estimate of how much things will cost.

The group shipping will only involve the smaller items. Should you be interested in larger items, the shipping will have to be seperate unless beneficial to the group.

I will then use the following week to collect funds before payment will be affected.

Price Lists - PARTS ONLY
DRL = A$170
lighted logo = A$95
front central lip, painted = A$80
Front eyelids painted = A$45
Rear Eyelids painted = A$60
Side mount Licence Plate = A$30
Scuffplates, stainless steel = A$95

Notes:
- The prices are for parts only Couriered from Russia to Melbourne and onward posts have not been added in.

- Following group by rules, Those in Melbourne will also pay part of the onward freight cost for fairness. There will be an collection fee for those in Melbourne to help offset the cost of onward freight.

- I've also rounded up the amount, so part of your onward costs have also been paid. Don't worry all payments will be documented.

Here is the updated order list. Those whose money I've recieved will see the = A$X0 behind their name. Closing date is this Friday 19 Nov 2010.

Irving,

I'll be interested in the DRL and the lighted logo for the back.

You do realise that if you take the logo for the back, the only sensible way is that you will have to drill a hole in your boot for the electrical wiring to get into your car. So long as you've considered that, no problems then. I thought I just mention that.

Yeah, I know that. But thanks for the heads up. I'm cool with drilling a hole, just wondering, would there be any risk of water getting in through the hole?

That's why I put the warning though , you' might find a grommet useful to ensure nothing leaks through..

Or once you have mounted the badge and pulled the wiring through fill the hole with silicone

Liam, I just take an interest in people. I didn't have to learn Russian. I just used my knowledge of my Melbourne members. Both Fisherrr and Vlad_The_Impaler both speak Russian. They helped make the links. Fisherrr obviously appealed to the Russians and they've agreed to deal with me through him.

So I really don't spend much time setting these things up.

And if you look at my group buy posts they're standard structure so I don't have to think of too much to put them up... .

It's organisation, not time.

Wow there is some really cool stuff on this site that I have never seen before, nice find!

Atm I'm considering the central lip in matte black (R1500 = A$50 is a bargain!) and the rear diffuser in matte black with single tip (R5000 = A$168)
Image

I wonder if it is possible to get this with the outside in body colour and the inside in matte black?

Count me in for the front central lip in matte black, and with regards to the diffuser it will depend on shipping costs as to whether I buy it. Its nice to see an alternative to the OEM diffuser that gives a bit more coverage. And it works with the mudflaps where the Talon doesn't.

Out of curiosity, does the front central lip act like an air splitter? I can't really tell if there is a gap for the air to pass through or if infact it will actually catch air (if it is sealed at the back) and therefore hinder airflow?

also is there colors we can choose from?

It's the price above for both the front and rear. Not very sure if you have a choice of colour though.

just go 1 Aus dollar, is aprox 30 Rubbles that will be easyer to get estimates then giving them a larger number making it harder to convert.

current market price for AU dollar to Rubbles, is 1 AUD - 30.2226 RUB

It's just a different way of looking at it.

If you look at the website most prices are in the thousands of roubles. There are no 30 rouble or 85 rouble items. They start in the thousands.

So wouldn't an item costing 5,000 roubles be easier to just take 5 X 33.5?
And a 500 Rouble item be half of 33.5?

IF you do A$1 = 30 Roubles , tell me what the price is of a 5000Rouble item is? Perhaps your mental arithmetic is far superior to mine... .

That was my thinking... . You're entitled to yours as I normally say.

But now I'm coming close to the conclusion that you don't really care.
I don't think you're buying anything. You just want to be heard... .

So I hear you blakey and I acknowledge your superiority... .
