New Proton Waja based on CJ Lancer

well, I didn't really say too much...

what I meant is, if someone took the CJ chassis - be it the Lancer or Inspira - ripped everything out and rebuilt it using their own schematics. different engine, different drivetrain (i.e. RWD), etc. so essentially, making their own private car like no other on the market...

I reckon it'd be cool...but going back to the original question...

Do we go from being a CJ Lancer club to a CJ chassis club?

(probably not...I think we'll probably stick as a majority CJ club, though we may see a few Proton members if they make the connection to take advantage of Lancer how-to and knowledge base.)

I think it's worth staying the same as we are now, and if they want to join then there's no reason why we would exclude them. Besides, we wouldn't ever get the Inspira here in Australia, and there's always benefits to having more people in the know... especially if some of these guys have new ideas as to how to do things, or know what the 'local street price' of parts is in Malaysia!

with the introduction of Proton Inspira , there will be lots of aftermarket parts being manufactured for this so i reckon it's a good thing for CJ lancers aswell.
That does mean that Malaysia will be filled with Proton Evolution X soon so i'm pretty unhappy with that probably cancel plans on bringing the car back and jump boats if i do go back lmao

I'm sure they won't be any harm , accepting guys that have a Proton Inspira as the mod ideas would be fairly similar, which would in turn help CCJ expand aswell.

I just hope they are mostly performance mods. We need more of those.
